What is the best practice amp ?

The best is not listed on your site, sound/price/reliability wise, the best practise IMO is Tech21 Trademark 10 (or even 30 if you need more power) for the bedroom, cant beat the sound, versatility, price, and no hassle with tubes that needs replacing eventually. Sounds better at low volume (apartment bed room level) than most tube amps.
