  • Docker and commandline

    Hi There,

I want to use NSIS to build our software from within a docker container.

For this I'm creating a docker container with msys2 inside.

I'm more of a linux guy, so forgive me asking obvious questions(), but: I fail to run the setup.exe of NSIS-3.08. I tried finding out about the parameters to call it from cmdline, but nothing worked.

Is there a recommended way to install on the cmdline?

Would something go terribly wrong if I just unzip an NSIS installation (created on a windows host with GUI)?

    Best, and forgive my win-ignorance.

    Best,
    Marcus

Yes, you can just copy an existing Windows install.
