it's a silent crash which Winamp / the OS catches without bringing Winamp down in the process. the result of this is despite the crash happening, it acts as though the dll is not there.

It would be nice to know if anyone could confirm this error.
To make it clear: Winamp does not crash, the plugin is simply not detected.

i'm not 100% sure of the reason for the crash (just shows as trying to access something which it shouldn't be doing on init) but without joonas to fix it there's really not much which can be done or an alternative being made (though haven't seen any other plug-in devs interested in doing such a thing and i personally don't have the time).

Stopped Working....
Hi!
Hopefully there is still someone out there.
I used Tagger for a long time now, but I recently updated to Winamp 5.6 and now it stopped working. It just does not show up in the plugin list. The funny thing is that this is only the case with Win 7 (64 bit), but not with Win XP (both 32 and 64).
I removed all other plugins and made a clean install. Did not help.
Any idea?
Thanks
Trempf

I forgot to mention in my previous post about the already existing tags of the songs before tagging. They appear to be some weird symbols and letters such as '§Uao§O?ORE¥N', '3¯?3‥3', etc. Tagging them with chinese characters create the initial problem. It also seems to be quite random. Sometimes everything tags correctly and sometimes a few files don't get tagged and remained as they were originally.

Using playlist separator v2.1.3 so if I press shift-T it seems to activate both plugins (but I don't think that's causing the problem since I normally just right click and select "Edit selected item(s)"). The problem is that it changes some and leaves some unchanged.
Thanks.

Some things to consider:
* Are all files mp3 files?
* Have you checked the appropriate checkboxes?
* Are you running another decoder than the regular in_mp3.dll?
* Which version of Winamp are you running?
* Which version of Tagger are you using?
* Other 3rd party plugins running?
* Anything else worth mentioning?
