Auto start for shoutcast

Hi I need to automatically start shoutcast, I was told that Sc start would do this, but I have 2 problems, 1 is that it performs an illegal opereration (a lot of the time) and secondly, it tries to play a playlist, but I want it to press the connect on the shoutcast source box, Am I a bit stupid or am I doing something wrong ???
