yp server errors? or is it just the server code

For the past couple of weeks when clustering the main shoutcast lister has been giving really inaccurate numbers on listener stats. the wierdest thing ive seen in relation to this is every now and then if i see a unusually low listener count ill check the admin page for my individual servers and ill see up to 50 unique listeners reporting the exact same connection time. I am sourcing off win2k pro primary server is running fbsd4.2 and the leaf server is running 4.3. I have also tried using both 1.7 and 1.8.

Also at the time of writing this the yp server is reporting live processes on a leaf server that has been killed for the last 15 minutes.
