  • Scheduling events in Winamp?

Hello, I'm trying to run low budget (well... I mean, no budget xD) radio station and I use Winamp for playing music on it. Everything is quite good but I really need automation aka scheduling events on Winamp. I've read tons of threads in here and usually people offer to use RadioDJ or Zara or any other radio automation software instead. BUT the only program that fits my needs is Winamp. Is there any way to make winamp play certain playlist or jingle on specific time?
I already tried using Windows task scheduler to play winamp on startup.
    Non-user-friendly solutions also possible
I use Windows XP Pro (32 bits) - upgrade is not possible, don't ask why xD

    Thank you in advance!

For mods: If I'm the wrong category - sorry for that. Direct me to the right one. Thanks!

You could try to google for stationplaylist
    or clockwheel rotation.

stationplaylist is not freeware , it's a paid solution but it works.

You could try WebJockey and Slicko.
      | Opus Audio Codec plugins 2.0 | Embedded Album Art | DiskWrite |
      | Save your playlist first! | Live voice-over | X-Fade 2.5 |
      | AterKast (Source DSP) | More of my stuff... |

AFAIK you have no way of scheduling events in Winamp.

RadioDJ has that ability.... you can schedule files/playlists at a set time and even have those events repeat on the day you want

RadioDJ is like the Swiss army knife of radio playout software (IMHO)

I've used RadioDJ for 10 years it makes life so much more simple.

The best free radio automation software still is Zararadio. All solutions included.
