We received an email from Shoutcast today that included the following in its message:
Does this mean that our stations will no longer broadcast after April 9th? It also says something about self-hosting on the Basic plan. Does this mean we host the station on a separate server? How would we move our music? It's very confusing. Please make a video or something explaining the logistics of all this soon.
Because we are constantly evolving, we have decided to adapt our commercial offer to better meet professional radio's expectations. Along that line, we will no longer offer the option to host small scale radio stations. Thus, Shoutcast for Business plan is replaced by the Basic plan.
Your account will therefore be deactivated in one month. We invite you to cancel it before April 9 in the "Manage your plan" tab.
