Same problem. It seems like all my settings in the Belkin router are ok but I will only get Timed Out! I have ports 8000-8001 and also 80-81 and correct IP address but will only get timed out. Anyone out there who knows what to do? Regards Leffe

you are trying to listen to your own broadcast?
what do you enter in the media player you use?
if it's winamp http://localhost:8000 should do the trick
if it's windows media player http://yourip:yourport

I have tryed both Application Gateways and Virtual servers. On Virtual servers Shout Cast is listed so I just click Add and configuration is set.
On a second row I have put in port 80. The transmitting computer will receive ShoutCast touched! But from another computer to the router Win Amp will only write Timed Out. Must be some very easy basic missing, but What?

Um - some routers don't support U-turns. If you're behind, trying to go out and come back in, that may not always work.
Why not have a friend on the outside try to connect? Call someone with an internet connection and have them try from their location.

I was going to make a new post but it seems that i have the same problem as Leffe.
I use an ADSL 512Kbps connection with dinamic IPs, i've forwared ports 8000 and 8001 on my router, the current IP is: 200.6.208.101 (changes almost everyday) but i've fixed that problem with NO-IP service, my localhost ip is 192.168.1.11.
This is what shoutcast DNAS says:

That unique user it's me on another PC on my same network and is conecting to 192.168.1.11; now, as you can see yp.shoutcast.com added me succesfully and i do appear on the YP, but still i can't connect to my radio, and i also asked some friends to try to access outside my network but they can't connect either, i've also tested the forwared ports with the canyouseeme.org tool and a tcpview software on my pc and they are working, when i test the router ip and the forwared port it goes straight to my pc.
I've tried almost everything and i've read the faqs and docs but i can't find a solution i hope you can help me.

Hi it works now to 50%. A friend can listen to my station but I can not. Fore sure I will be able to monitor and check out my station. How do I find out which Router will work or not? I have a Belkin 4-Port Cable/DSL Gateway Router. I don´t mind buying another one as long as I know it will work so my second computer can monitor the station.

Your second computer should access your server using it's private IP address. No need for another router.
