  • "View Logfile" in admin stalls on invalid request line

    Hi -

    Using 1.9.5/Win32.
Every now and then some clown sends us an invalid resource request (presumably an attempt to take advantage of the old bug).

When viewing the entire logfile through the web interface, lines beyond that one are not visible.

E.g. if someone had made a duff request an hour ago, from the web interface it looks as though there are no more log entries after that one.
Manually removing these bad lines from the logfile cures it.

Is this a known bug, or did I miss an FAQ?

    Thanks.

I had the same thing happen. I had to manually edit the logfile, and remove the offending line. Then the HTML page would load completely again. I think it's a parser error, because the logfile had many entries after the bad one.

      Hope this helps!

Yep, thats exactly the same thing I'm getting. It's really annoying!!

Perhaps a simple script to periodically remove these lines
        could be conjoured up...

        Thanks for confirming.
