"push to talk" doesnt work in Windows 7

The push to talk button doesnt work in Windows 7 - it just keeps recieving input from the microphone and doesn't turn it off untill i press the button. Anyone have any tip or tricks to get this working, or maybe a plug in that will help?

Don`t use Windows 7 on your productive systems.
It`s just a beta software.
