How To Create m3u file for Shoutcast Stream ?

Dear Support,

I have tried to search in forum and google but could not find how I can give my listeners a m3u file along with pls. As WMP is not capable of reading pls.

Same as you would for any playlist.

Load your stream into the Playlist Editor window, press Manage Playlists > Save Playlist > save as m3u.

As this is a broadcast stream the Extended Info will be worthless, so you can edit the m3u file in NotePad by changing the EXT INFO line if you want. (At it's simplest, an m3u playlist only needs to contain an address, so you can remove everything but).

If you are streaming in .wma format you should add ?MSWMExt=.wma to the end of the address.
