i found another radio with the same Stream title and website as mine

and as you see there is another radio in the ShoutCast Directory http://www.shoutcast.com/radio/Arabic that shares the same details as mine. I believe that there is some conflict some where.

Please advise!

is a YP bug. only current solution is to use a v2 DNAS. if that's not possible then there's no alternative solution.

ShoutCast directory is showing else's radio with my own radio title

Dear,

How can I contact Shoutcast support team or email them my issue.
This is very serious and need a quick urgent fix.

The Directory is listing a strange radio station but with my own radio station details [name + website]

as i have already said, it is a YP bug and i have given you the only official response that there is (as i was the last person working on the YP).

i'm not seeing your stream using a v2 DNAS so i don't see how "I tried that" can be the case.


there is little that can be done when i'm not able to work on SHOUTcast issues (and i have no idea if / when i will be able to resolve it). i know this is "urgent" for you and the handful of other people who are being affected by this issue, but if i don't have the time to work on fixing it, then there is not going to be a "quick" fix.


also there was no need to post the now merged thread in the Winamp specific part of the forum.

and finally, the thread you are claiming is the "same issue" is not as that was due to a different bug (and also noticeably different revision of the YP code than the one which is in use which is causing the incorrect clustering issue for some v1 based streams).

and to reply to the feedback form message here (so it's all in one place), you station has not been hacked. it is a YP bug. and i don't know how many times that needs to be repeated for it to be understood.

We may all just have to depend on third party directories to list our stations now that Shoutcast is not reliable for V1 stations. Luckily TuneIn is FREE
