Does SHOUTcast send BPM?

I was wondering if the SHOUTcast DNAS sends the BPM of the currently playing song either through a xml page or through the icy-metadata. I am making a player that beats to the beat of the song and it would be helpful to be able to read the BPM of the current song.

Currently I am using the Winamp SHOUTcast source DSP as the stream source.

not unless you're using the 2.x protocol and the source is providing the bpm information in the in-stream metadata (which the Source DSP will not do). it is spec'd as per http://wiki.winamp.com/wiki/SHOUTcas..._Specification but is optional and unless your player knows how to handle things, then nothing else out there will use it.
