Metadata stream format ?

Hi

I'm curious to know if there is a set format for sending the metadata in a stream.

Are there any hard rules whichstate should be artist,song,album or can it be album artist song, does it make any difference to the server in recording what,s being played.

You have to tag your mp3 files with id3-tags with artist and title.

If you are streaming live then you can use your streaming client to set the title like: "artist-trackname"
