Hi all,
When other sources are trying to reconnect after kicking the active source to take over when swicthing DJ's the song history metadata is often getting mixed up between the active stream and the previous source. It becomes out of sync with the actual songs that are played by the active stream overlapping with the backgound stream automatically trying to reconnect.
I tried to search around but I couldn't find much about this problem. This used to happen once in a while in the past 10 years but it now occurs all the time since we upgrade on the latest SHOUTcast server.
This is a real problem because we are not always home to shutdown our stream when another DJ takes over.
Does anyone knows if this is a known issue or if there is any way to prevent this behavior?
