  • Secure connection fail when loading stream URL in Firefox

With a recent update to Firefox (I'm on 65.0.1 64-bit Win10 now), I can no longer load the Shoutcast stream for my station (listen.shoutcast.com/pituey). Does anyone else see this?

Other clients are OK with this URL, but Firefox says "The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem." I've never had much luck with attempts to contact Shoutcast with questions before.

Is this problem due to my own MB encoder still using the V1 format?
Or is it just a legacy SSL or TLS issue that Shoutcast needs to fix on the sever side?

Which leads me to my next question: Who else do you all recommend I encode my station's stream to - rather than paying Shoutcast?

The issue has since resolved, returned, and then resolved again.

But any suggestions of alternate providers are still welcome. Thanks for reading.
