I was disconnected a short time but i'm broadcasting right now.
Just to say, i need moderator to tell me what i need to change on my tv if i need it.
I need to put it on public in a few days, is everything allright ?

Hi everyone:

Check your SHOUTcast Server for a ban file. This is usually seen when a DNAS (that's the streaming source or interface between the source and the server) connects to it and instructs your server to be listed publicly on the SHOUTcast YP or Winamp TV listings.

If there IS a ban, you're SOL. Nothin' you or anyone else (INCLUDING THE MODERATORS) can do.

Thats why i need a moderator to see my tv and who are going to tell me whats wrong or if its ok

Hi everyone:

Archive - IF there is a ban_rip file, that means you are banned and NO moderator can do anything about it. And even if they could, you're gonna have to give them a much better reason than what you gave above as to why they should even bother.

In other words, regardless of the outcome, live & let let live and move on. The past is always history.

I really need someone to see it and tell me if everything is ok to broadcast it without beeing banned in the future.
I need a moderator to see it.

Hi everyone:

Archive - Even if it was someone on your subnet, its doubtful (highly doubtful in fact) the mods can do anything about it.

Unless you are an ISP, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE TRAFFIC ORIGINATING FROM YOUR IP.. It's as simple as that.

Like I said before, if it turns out you ARE banned, live & let live and move on. There's still IceCast

If you change your pub flag, when shoutcast handshakes it will either say "shoutcast has added me successfully" or "You have been banned for being a jerk".

So you got two choices. Beg for clemency (and it seems like you PO'ed some moderators) or get a new IP and follow the rules. The latter is probably easier.

A warning that the stream is porn might be polite when you post it in a public forum.

I think this post and the other one might come really close to breaking the rules against site promotion.

It seems like the further you go, the less you help your case.

About the bann

I just changed my hosting shoutcast server and tried to connect my tv on the list yesterday.

My tv was on the list on Winamp for 3 hours only.

It says : <01/11/06@02:38:45> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave error (nak)
<01/11/06@02:38:45> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave extended error (This network has been permanently banned due to a previous violation of the SHOUTcast directory terms of service.)

I want to know wich rules i have broken because i have read many times now the rules and don't see why i'm again bann.

I just put videos on it and check about my bitrate or something else like wrong information but found nothing.

I'm looking for someone ( if the moderator have no time for me its ok) who can tell me whats happen ?

The first time i was banned and my TV was of for three weeks.
The problem was corrected. My hosting server let me in private for 3 weeks and i was asking here after this if everything was ok but nobody never answer my questions.
As i saw in your rules someone can be banned and if they follow the rules and take another ip ( if the former ip was not debann ) its ok.
I don't understand whats happen right now and i'm sure i'm not the only one !
Can you please explain me in details ?
