Over 10 versions of Canon in D, each with a different ensemble of instruments. Piano Duets, Guitars, Brass, you name it.

Now, personally this has never been my favorite song, but curiously I find that a lot of people not into classical music really like it.

It struck me one day that maybe it is because it similar in structure to a modern mix song - and in that I mean that is repeats the same scale consistently and in time throughout the whole song- similar to how a DJ uses a repetitive soundbyte along with a beat through a whole song.
