1st:I didn't find one with less than 4000 downlads (what does this say to us?)
2nd:why do people download Brit skins?
even that one http://www.winamp.com/skins/reviews....omponentFlag=S got 12000 downlads...

That is a pretty good assesment of that skin, I believe. I also think there should be minimum requirements to publish a skin, Like Main, Equalizer and Playlist. Anything less than that does not get published.

No way, the reason I like coming to winamp.com to download skins is because they have the most to choose from. Yeah some are bad and aren't skinned much but who cares? If you don't like those ones don't download them! Keep the skin section the way it is.

Now, in jct007's defense, sometimes I've been known to browse three stars skins for something different, or holding potential, or perhaps with a theme I like.

If some one else is filtering only the top skins out before I see them, what jewels might I miss that tickle only my fancy?

Not bigger is better, but more choices are better. Now we need the tools to help filter through those choices...
