O!.. Well at that moment I was playing with the Dll's of both plug-ins looking for differences. Wrapper adapts to mostly all changes, including those messy behaviors mentioned in other posts.

the wrapper shouldn't be making any changes to that. all it does is resolve some integration issues with newer Winamp / OS versions, otherwise what you get is Enhancer 0.17 without any alterations to how it's buttons or output works - that is not something the wrapper ever touches. so i am a bit paranoid about it since nothing in my code which was heavily tested goes anywhere near that aspect of Enhancer's behaviour

    Sorry for the delayed answer...

Well is not functional issue per se.. but the ambiance button doesn't work so "smoothly" as Enhancer does. (hope not going too paranoid). No worries.. Wrapper is good though, but just found out that tiny difference..

eh? there should be no functional difference with the wrapper on those buttons compared to the non-wrapper version. what exactly is the difference you're having?

Just found a way to make it work, not with Bento/Big Bento skins, but with the modern skins interface. At least is not too messy to keep the Enhancer window on a 'X'place. Btw, I've tried "Wrapper" and their button behavior is not the same as the Enhancer itself. (the ambience button). Anyway, nice plug-in....

though that's not going to help if the Winamp window is then moved. really it's not that hard to manually move the window into position (as editing ini files is a pain at the best of times).

    Hi skeleto,

I have seen that the Enhancer settings stored in "plugin.ini" includes default position variables; Window X= and Window Y=. With Winamp closed, you can use a text editor (like Notepad) to modify these settings. With a little trial and error, you can position the Enhancer window exactly where you want.

Another benefit of editing the Enhancer settings manually is that you can better fine tune the 10 main DSP effects than you can with the slider controls.

not currently and not easily. the Enhancer window doesn't use Winamp's skinned frames (seeing as it predates that support by a few years) which would automatically allow it to snap or dock to the other windows when using Bento or any of the other other modern skin windows.

it was enough of a challenge to try to make it work with all of the classic skin windows as part of the wrapper plug-in i created to fix issues with using it on newer versions of Windows and Winamp (http://www.nunzioweb.com/daz/enhancer/) and there's no simple way that i'm aware off to be able to get it working with modern skins.

i might be wrong but i couldn't find anything obvious when i did the classic skin support - though i've just had a thought in that maybe embedding the window into a skinned frame might work but as i've recently halted plug-in development, other than noting this down there's not much chance of me ever getting around to trying to implementing it to see if it would be viable.
