I'm glad you changed your mind and will add the spectroscope color options. Pretty sure I will not be the only one to appreciate it.

The tricky part is still to come though. The background and those bars change their color according to the chosen color for the spectroscope's visualizer in the 3.7 version. But not in the 3.8 yet.

Update: Yes they do!



Having chosen Classic color scheme the background will stay gray-ish while on Modern it will change its color (very subtle) according to the chosen color for the spectroscope.

P.S. Please do not get distracted by those brown colors of the component - these are my personal Work-In-Progress color schemes so I constantly can distinguish between stable (like 3.7) and W.I.P.

I never knew it was possible to close Winamp with a command. Now I know so I added "Close Winamp" to Sleep Timer.

I didn't know there is a sleep timer function in Quinto. Is it new for v3.8? If not, how do I activate it in v3.7.

This is a feature that I've been wanting Winamp to have for a long time. I've been using the option in the queue manager to close after playing all the items in the queue as a substitute.

No. You need a command in order to close Winamp, which is executed after the set time is up. Hence no interaction with a button.

LOL, I never used the file info panel in the Playlist Editor. So I didn't notice when the button was changed to 'Menu'. Thank you for all those additional features.

It didn't help that I mostly use WACUP these days and I'm still using version 3.1 with it. I like the 9 image view in that version's Album Coverflow feature. I also didn't want to rebuild my WACUP's studio.xnf file for the other modern skins I use. I know it would not be easy, but it would be a great help if your installer could clean up the Quinto entries for earlier versions.

I found a tiny bug in the current 3.7 version: you cannot use CTRL + T in order to change the timer appearance from "timer_elapsed" to "timer_remaining" and vice versa. Although this feature still works by clicking on the timer itself on the Main Player.

I already fixed it for the upcoming 3.8 update.

No. It has this in config\configpages\playback.m:

Button b = System.getContainer("main").getLayout("normal").findObject("close");
b.LeftClick();​ 

It does the job but what you have found in application.mi is much simpler.

So basically, the close button clicks itself and therefore closes Winamp?

I bet this idea originates from time before the latest WaSDP, because Martin would have definitely used the more elegant solution we have in the application.mi. Unless he was not aware Benski made the file and put it in the WaSDP without telling him about it. This would make sense since the Votrex script was made in 2006 and Martin compiled the latest WaSDP version in 2007 - if I am not mistaken.
