Can a layer ignore mouse clicks?

Checking through the 'XML GUI Objects' page you pointed me to in another thread i found 'Ghost'. A boolean, so Ghost="1" makes the layer transparent to mouse clicks. Perfect!
I'm now working out all the bits to create a new Playlist Editor window.

I would experiment with the parameters that have "click" in their names such as

noleftclick="1"

I have a Songticker layer on my background image but when I left-click on it to move the skin it just moves the song title backwards and forwards.
Is it possible to make the songticker 'invisible' to the mouse?
