Enhancer 0.17 Registry Error

Whenever I run Winamp with Enhancer 0.17 installed I get an "Error..."-box, which say "Can't access registry information..."

Do anyone have an idea how to fix this?
Then I would be happy to know

Can anyone tell me where the help file is for Enhancer and or why the volume will not allow me to set it...............it continues to drift downward so no matter what I do the volume of the music stay at where Enhancer wants it to be rather then where I want to listen to it at?

Hi A1955Harley,

I forgot to mention that the volume control in Enhancer can be disabled. It is supposed to be a safety feature to prevent over amplification from causing distortion and possible damage to your speakers.

Problem seems fixed

I just run Winamp in Vista SP2 compability... No error Message pops up now.

Dude, that's so nice someone found a way to have Enhancer working on WinNT6, I was already crying into my pillow when finally switching from WinXP tro Win7.

The error with registry access can easily be fixed by running Winamp with adminstrator rights, BUT drag'n'drop from files in explorer to the playlist don't work then for example. So this way is muuuch better. :-)
