is taking screenshots of milkdrop in fullscreen mode legal or illegal??

i am in need of pictures for my website http://www.vicky89.com

1)so is it legal to take the screenshot pictures and using them in my site??

2)i've created my own preset that belongs to me. is it legal to take screenshots from them ??

desperately in need of answers pls help

#2 is fine as you're the preset author.

#1 is probably ok though it's generally best (if possible) to check with the author of the preset that they're happy with it though most of the ones already bundled with the Winamp distribution should be safe to use. also it'd probably make sense to state where they've come from/author just so they have acknowledgement & can find out where to get the preset.

though if i'm wrong i'm sure i'll be corrected by the preset authors who frequent this part of the forums.
