A way to make mildrop respond to audio input

I would relaly love to use milkdrop with a projector on a techno set. If there was a way to make Milkdrop respond to real time audio input that would be great. It seems odd to me that this idea hasn't come up before. perhaps I'm just missing it somewhere in the options?

yeah, I am using it for a afro-dub band called ecoodek, it works great! the club we play in has a projector and screen built in, but I working on bringing it on the road.
