I wasn't planning on it... Winamp's plug-in API is well-documented and already used by several other media players, and it's the best media player out there anyway.
so chances of this are pretty slim. I'd recommend trying to get the QCD dev team to add support for the winamp plug-in API, since it's become a bit of a standard.
kinda related I guess:
winamp3 is multi-platform, having linux and mac ports, I'm not sure how much plugins will talk to wasabi, so is it likely that a winamp3 version of milkdrop will run in linux?
or failing that, is there ever likely to be a linux (winamp3 or xmms) port of any of your plugins?
seeing as the source code has been out there for a few years (for MD1.x and MD2.x), if it's not been ported to other players then there's obviously just not the interest (other than ProjectM taking what it could and going multi-platform instead). plus was it really necessary to bump a 13.5yr old thread.
