  • Basic fullscreen oscilloscope

I've been looking around for a fullscreen version of the built-in Winamp oscilloscope - very basic, drawn with lines and running at high fps.

Does anyone know if this exists as a preset already, or if there's something similar that I could use to try and make my own?

Check out the Nullsoft Tiny Fullscreen plugin. (it comes with default full install)

In the "Plug-in Module" dropdown below the Vis Plugin list, choose either the Spectrum Analyzer + Oscilliscope or the Sexy Scrolling Voiceprint

Thanks, that's pretty good. Blanked out the spectrum analyzer by setting all its colours to black (though it would be nice to switch it off to save processing) and the oscilloscope looks smart. Is there any way to get rid of the text at the top of the screen though?

if you press f1 it gives you a list of options.

F1 doesn't seem to work here: it opens up a web browser with the Winamp instructions, which don't mention the visualisation options.

If you wanted a milkdrop preset to do this - it wouldn't be at all hard to do.
of the basic waveforms, wavetype 6 and 7 are simple oscilloscopes - in mono and stereo respectively.
set up a preset with nothing in it except a per frame command to set warp to 0.

By the sounds of it, that's all youre after.

Are you sure your running milkdrop? Sounds like another plugin?

That was the Tiny Fullscreen plugin, as was suggested earlier on.
