ERROR : Unable to save file

I have had a problem with being unable to save files on Milkdrop. I recently reinstalled winamp and it fixed the problem for a few sessions then came back. I tried to find this error code on the boards and couldn't and yet it seems like this must be a common problem. Anyone offer any assistance? I simply try to save a file and it gives me the
"unable to save file" code. I am running a new computer with a screaming NVIDIA 8400 video card on Vista...maybe there are some kind of protections through Vista that are not allowing this...

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Also, any thoughts on how to make live feeds a little more perfectly synced. I have a slight delay when it comes straight off the mic...thanks!
