FPS bug?!?

Hi Ryan,

I though that I would be the first to use your new smoke forums.
But with a small bug

It is simple you cannot have the fps when tracer particles are off.

In fact you can have no text at all if the tracer particles are off. H for help, etc do not work as well.

My system for the record (again) 1.3ghz ath, 256 ram, geForce 2 MX(32MB) Running XP now.

Oh well sorry about that another bug to add to your growing list of Milkdrop ones (we are trying honestly to solve them as much as possible for you on the MD forums but some of them are beyond us).

Keep it up Ryan you bring joy into so many of our lives.

Hi Rovastar,

On my system everything is working well, even text and fps with tracer particles set to off.
No problem at all, so I guess it is a driver bug/thing.

My system for the records:
700mhz Ath, 192mb ram, kyro II (with latest reference driver), Win2k with Sp2

Looks like it could be a nvidia driver issue........anyone else getting this?

No problems here with the fps bug, Celeron 667, 128MB RAM, Intel 4MB onbaord video card, Win98 SE.

Still crashes with "P" though, same as MD does...
