  • Playlist Scroll?

I dont know if You are aware of this bug yet, But here goes:

When I play a song and scroll to the bottom, The Bottom of the list (not the repeated track, but the set bottom) near the bottom that has the List button Gets replaced by the repeating track.

I know this is confusing. I'll attach a picture.

This Picture Is the Bottom of the player When it's not scrolled to the very Bottom. It's normal, And nothing is wrong here.

    System:

Processor: Amd Athlon xp 2200 +
    Memory: 716 Mb DDR RAM
    Vid Card: RADEON 9700 PRO
Motherboard : Unsure. I'd have to find the box :P
    Connection: Verizon Broadband DSL.
I have exactly 385 MP3s on my list.
    Operating System: Windows XP Professional
    Winamp: Newest version: 5.02

Edit: Shit sorry, I didnt see that this glitch has been covered.

Edit Edit: Looks like the other thread Was covering the RESIZING of the Pl. This happends When I just move the slider to the bottom of the pl. Also, The bug was never figured out. Maybe this thread can Be a bit more helpful.

Edit Edit Edit ( ): I noticed it DOES happen On resize also. As I Move the PL Up (resize it moving up) the track Gets Big, Then pops back to normal, and then as I move it up It grows Out of boundries again.

Here's the error. It's scrolled to the bottom, and the track is At the bottom:

Also, I downloaded this skin: http://www.winamp.com/skins/details.php?id=138977

and Unchecked the smooth Skin Box (an Option that comes with it... I dont know much about it) and I still get the glitch. Other than that, I have not Installed any skin Enhancers.

Note: I get this glitch with any Classic Skin that I use. I havent gotten It with any Winamp Freeform Skins.

Sorry, but we haven't got a clue what you're talking about :/

And I can't reproduce the effect of abnormal.bmp with either the default modern or classic skin.

Maybe it's a problem with whichever 3rd-party skin you're using?
Though I can't reproduce the problem with Venom either...
(ie. the 3rd-party modern skin you linked to above).

We're gonna need to know the exact reproduction method first...

Nope. All of my skins do that. Even default/classic. It doesnt happen with modern skins. Only classic.

Do you have a desktop enhancer/utility or shell replacement (yzshadow, nView, Litestep, Samurize, StyleXP, Windows Blinds, Perfect Menu, Aston shell, etc.)?

My apologies if was not informative enough. I was talking about 3rd party visual enhancers. I believe that UxTheme.dll is a Microsoft (WinXP) file. Some 3rd party desktop/shell enhancers causes “cosmetic” bugs with Winamp. I was trying to pin down the source of the problem. Another source just might be a third party Winamp plug-in.

Just out of curiosity, is the bug a cosmetic annoyance or does it impact on the performance of Winamp?

UXtheme.dll is a replacement for style XP. If you patch the UXtheme.dll, it allows for windows xp shelling.

The UXTheme Multi-Patcher v4.0 has been created for Neowin by WindowsX and Vorte[x]. It patches the UXTheme.dll for Windows XP/SP1/SP2 Beta/RTM and 2003 and allows you to use un-signed custom visual styles. To simply patch the UXTheme.dll file, run the program, it will determine your operating sy...

                          Edit:

The bug just makes the skins I use look ugly. It doesnt effect performance in any way.

Hmmm, is it possible to exclude Winamp from that?

No. It's not an application with an interface. (well, no way that I know of)
