Progress bar not working when playing videos?

When I try using the progress bar to skip to certain parts of a video, it just ignores that I even tried to and continues playing through the whole thing.. =(

same thing with ctrl j, I cant go to a certain time in the video for some reason and I don't know why. Please help =)


XP pro SP2 | 1500+ athlon | 512 RAM | GeForce FX 5200

What file format?
If it's WMV then it's on the Known Bugs list :/

Actually they are avi, but I didn't even notice on the list, mahbad=/
