Under preferences for my portable (a Pocket PC phone using ActiveStink) there is a Podcast Sync option that allows you to select how many of the most recent episodes to sync. The choices are All, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Changing that setting to All is not saved. If you go to another preference page or close and come back the value will revert to whatever number you last selected. You can change it to a number and that persists, but the all setting will not persist.
