1. winamp_bug_check.avi

No checkmarks for Repeat & Shuffle under the Play menu in modern skins.
Likewise for: Play menu -> Playback -> Stop after current.

Relevant checkmarks appear under the Options (and Playback) submenu(s) of the main Winamp menu (rt-click titlebar etc), but not in the "Play" titlebar menu.

Reproduced.


2. winamp_bug_check_non-match.avi

Hmm... not sure about this one

Bento -> Options menu -> Visualization:
Uncheck "Open in big component view"
With music playing, switch from ML tab to Visualization tab,
let the vis start and run for a few seconds,
then switch back to ML tab.
"Open in big component view" is now checkmarked again.

Expected behaviour?


3. winamp_bug_gracenote.avi

Not sure if I understand this one....

Any playlist entry (mp3, wma, ogg, m4a, flac) -> View File Info:
Click "Auto-Tag" button
Try to click the Red X to close the Gracenote "your file is being scanned" dialog.
Nothing happens.

I don't think that particular dialog CAN be cancelled/closed manually.
So even though there's a red X close button on it, like there is with all Windows common dialogs, I believe this to be expected behaviour (even though the red X not working suggests that it's unexpected behaviour).


4. winamp_bug_taskbar_1.avi

Known / unimplemented feature.

We tried to implement Modern Skin support for Vista DWM/Flip3D in 5.5 beta, but it ended up causing too many crashes. Hopefully we'll eventually come up with a workaround/solution...


5. winamp_bug_taskbar_2.avi

Known / old longstanding issue

Winamp Modern skin

Main, Playlist & ML windows all in default positions.

Drag main window as far down the screen as possible.
The ML disappears of the screen behind the Windows Taskbar.
Keep going and eventually the main window undocks
and you lose the ML offscreen somewhere.

7. winamp_crash_dsp.avi

Winamp crashes (Runtime R2605: pure virtual function call) if you attempt to close it whilst the dsp_sps config -> Help dialog is open.

Reproduced!

winamp caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)
in module winamp.exe at 001b:094a421f


8. winamp_crash_visualization.avi

Reproduced!

Bento skin
Start playback
Click Visualization tab to start vis plugin (I used Milkdrop2 in this test)
Go to: Titlebar -> Options menu -> Visualization
Click "Open in mult-content view (stretched)"

start with Winamp Modern skin,
open the attached vis drawer to start vis plugin,
switch to Bento skin
then switch back to Bento....?

I noticed in your video that there was no music playing at the time.

The resolution of your video is a bit small, and I couldn't read what the script error said.

I couldn't reproduce the crash, but did experience some problems...

Winamp Modern skin -> start playback
Main window, open vid/vis drawer and switch to vis to start vis plugin
(I was using Milkdrop2 in this test).
Switch to Bento skin
Wait a bit, then switch back to Winamp Modern skin

On the switch back to Winamp Modern, I noticed that the previously attached vis window was now detached and partially hiding behind the main window (which now had the video window attached/displayed instead).

I tried to click "Reattach vis" in the vis window,
and Winamp froze up on me, forcing me to kill the process.

And when I reopened Winamp, the Winamp Modern skin was all messed up (I could see my desktop through the video window, playlist window was gray/blank, etc). Reloading the skin fixed all that though, heh.


11. winamp_non-localizable_1.avi

Apparently, "Load" & "Save" Color Schemes in Bento skin are non-localizable?

Bento -> Ctrl+Shift+Rt-click wasabi menus are not localizable (by design).

Hmm, I couldn't reproduce this one.


By the way, all of the videos in the zip play perfectly ok in Winamp for me
(using default Windows AVI Splitter and ffdshow decoder).

Winamp can crash when setting the "offline" mode in Internet Explorer and trying to display online content within Winamp.

#11 i think dro spent some time to translate this, but there are problems. who is using this menus anyways
