Small Glitchy Text Popup Issue

Had this problem in 5.56 and 5.57, the font on only the song title gets glitched out once the bottom right pop-up fully appears (as it is sliding/fading into view the text looks fine)

I have all the latest drivers yadda yadda, I am advanced computer user, this is my only real issue with winamp right now.

Are you using Vista or Win 7? Some Vista users have reported the issue with distorted text in the notifier. As a fix for the issue, one user suggested enabling (or disable) Aero and another suggested to disable desktop alpha in Winamp (Winamp > Ctrl+P > Modern Skins > Alpha Blending tab > uncheck 'Enable Desktop Alpha Blending')

Actually I just tried disabling cleartype which compltely fixed it, however, I love cleartype and will try your method.

Also, sometimes when I start winamp it appears like this, with 'jump to file' open. But only every couple times I start it..?

You're welcome and thanks for the disabling Clear Type tip.

It varies with the skin. Desktop alpha can be used to smooth out rough edges along curves or angles, create shadow effects and/or translucent display panels on the skin.

[edit] As for the JTF issue, is "Reload 'jump to file' when Winamp starts' unchecked in JTF options? (Winamp > Ctrl+P > General Preferences > Jump to File > Display tab)
