When you click next to (right side) the "average" ratings of an album in the album view, all the single track ratings are deleted. Thereby it doesn't matter how far the cursor is away from the rating, as long as it is on the same height.
I think such interactions should only be possible, when you click directly on the ratings or use right click. Especially because you can't undo it..

@draconox
Which lang pack are you using? Does it crash when just using default English?
Does it crash if you remove the 3rd-party gen_albumcover.dll plug-in?

ATF $trim function crashes Winamp if argument does not exist
1. Enter this ATF string on the 'Titles' page in the Winamp Preferences:
2. Find a MP3 or FLAC file that does not have a comment field in its tag.code:
%artist% - %title%[ - %comment%]
3. Drag and drop the file to the Playlist Editor and observe Winamp handle the file normally.
4. CLEAR THE PLAYLIST EDITOR.
If you dont't, you run the risk of not being able to start Winamp until the ATF string is replaced from outside Winamp. (eg. from a back-up or clean install or editing winamp.ini)
5. Change the ATF string (notice the addition of the $trim function) to this:
Answer "Yes" or "No" to the invitation to rename the playlist entries. It won't matter which is selected.code:
%artist% - %title%[ - $trim(%comment%)]
6. Drag and drop the same file to the Playlist Editor and observe Winamp crash.
My pertinent settings
Preferences > Plug-ins > Input > Configure in_mp3.dll > ID3 Tags > ID3 Tag Reading > check-mark "Read ID3v.2 tags"
Preferences > Media Library > Local Library > Watch Folders > Metadata Reading Settings > Configure > All, no guessing
Preferences > General Preferences > Titles > check-mark "Use advanced title formatting when possible"
Preferences > General Preferences > Titles > Metadata Reading > defaultAttached Files

the crash report indicates you are not using a patched Winamp install. re-install things from the recommended patched version from http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....74929#download

the 'C' action is purely a pause/un-pause action so it will not do anything if Winamp is not already playing. so i see nothing wrong.

Winamp Play/Pause (C) Bug
System:
Winamp 5.666 (build 3516)
Skin: N/A
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit)
Locale: English US
CPU: Intel I5-2300 2.8GHz
Memory: 6GB RAM
Graphics: Geforce GTX 590
Sound: Via High Definition Audio
Problem:
A file must be played in Winamp before the C (play/pause) key will work. The C key should work as Winamp is open, as does the X (play) key, if the default playlist that is loaded is not empty.
Method of Reproduction:
1. Make sure Winamp is closed.
2. Open Winamp (at least one item must be in the default/saved playlist).
3. Click Winamp to make sure it's focused.
3. Press C.
(Bug: Nothing happens.)
4. Click Play twice (to play and pause the current playlist item).
5. Press C.
6. Now the button works.

Hi Evil Crusader,
I don't see anything obviously wrong in your configuration. The lyrics plug-in and the language pack would be my prime suspects, but you already said that they are not causing the problem. You do have a number of official components that I don't use. I can only suggest disabling them (with Winamp shutdown, change the file extensions from "dll" to "off") to see if the problem goes away. If it does, then re-enable them (one at a time) to see which one or ones cause the problem to return.
The following plug-ins are no longer working due to expired licenses with AOL and the new owner (Radionomy) will not be renewing their licenses, so there is no need to leave them enabled.
ml_autotag.dll, ml_nowplaying.dll, and ml_plg.dll
The following are also not in my configuration, so I don't know if they may be involved or not. If you don't use the tray control feature or the various kinds of portable media players, then there is no need to have them enabled either.
gen_tray.dll, pmp_activesync.dll, pmp_android.dll, pmp_ipod.dll, pmp_njb.dll, pmp_p4s.dll, and pmp_wifi.dll
There are a few more having to do with the CD 'rip and burn' feature (and the Sonic Burning Engine) and podcasts, but no one (to my knowledge) has reported them causing this kind of problem.
Something may not have installed correctly, so a re-install (clean or 'in-place') may help.

I suggest you use the Winamp Info Tool (link below) to create an extended report of your configuration and use the advanced reply editor to attach a zipped file of it to a post. There may be something (in it or not in it) about your configuration causing this issue for you. You may need to expand or scroll the reply editor's attachment window (to the right and left) to see all the options for attaching a file. Also look at the preferences in the Info Tool. They let you select the format for the report, remove your user profile name (for privacy), and other things related to controlling the generation of the report.

Winamp 5.666 (build 3516) with both of the plugin updates
Old installation (worked flawlessly since .3516 came out) with Lyrics Plugin (the bug occurs regardless of it, though)
Language Pack: Italian (Problem also occurs with English)
Skin: Bug occurs with Bento and Bento Big skins
OS: Windows 7 Professional (64-bit)
Locale: Italy
CPU: Intel i5-2500K
Memory: 8GB RAM
Graphics: NVidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti
Sound: GigaByte GF116 HD Audio Controller
DirectX 11
Problem:
Whenever I start reproducing any music file with any Bento skin enabled, the popup in the lower-right corner of the screen freezes, causing Winamp to stop responding. The track plays correctly, but the program never stops being hung up.
(Thanks in advance for the help!)
Method of Reproduction:
1. Open any MP3 file with Bento active
2. Wait...
