  • Minimized Volume Capacity Mess

I have a Lenovo yoga 2 - 11 I love it. I'm running windows 10 and I never really noticed how soft the music is on high volume until I started using Wavosaur to edit out a few swears and realized woah my speakers rock. So I reset my volume settings, and boosted winamp to the max...and it's very soft. I've used a few of the current app store music players (whose UI SUCK!!) and they're limited in functionality.
I use winamp to quickly and easily create playlists and edit metadata. I can jump around and shuffle with ease. Seeing all my songs or a few very easily.
In competitors you're scrolling through lists or hitting search and you can't do any kind of drag and drop playing so you have to fully explore your files and generate playlists in advance. This sucks like having broken legs in Venice would suck. I don't really want any other program besides winamp. I'd hate to have to get used to a whole new interface with different capabilities, but I can't hear if there's ambient sound when volume is maxed and other programs are louder.

I love everything about winamp - but if the app at max volume doesn't make use of the available system volume - how do I fix that?? Other apps do. Winamp is the only one not to. HELP!!

    Hi,

Download and use the Winamp Info Tool (http://koopa.meggamusic.co.uk/infotool/) to make an extended report of your Winamp installation. The tool will put the report in a zip file. Attach the zip file to a post.
