Recently installed the new Winamp 5.9 over the previous 5.8 release. Running Windows 10, using Big Bento Modern Windows 10.

I can play from playlists, but whenever I click on the Audio Library folder icon, the audio library comes up blank, and after a second, Winamp disappears. Any attempt to access the library, or rescan it, causes it to abruptly close.

I downloaded this: Winamp590_9999_final_full_en-us(1). I don't know whether that's RC2 or not. If not, is there a list of bug-fixes for RC2 that might indicate they solved the issue?

OK, thanks! The link above says to backup the Winamp library, settings, etc. when doing an upgrade. Where is that stored? It looks like: C:\Users\Name\AppData\Roaming\Winamp\Plugins\ml, but is there anyplace else?

Although no error messages were displayed prior to Winamp disappearing, I did find this in the Winamp.log file:

[2022-12-08 10:53:49.513] [5.90.0.9999] [error] The plugin 'gen_jumpex.dll' is not found in the "Plugins" folder!

I don't know what this dll is for, or if it might be the cause of the sudden crashes.

I am running Winamp 5.9.1 released 12/7/22. I am noticing a distinct lack of a menu option to burn a CD when I click on the CD Burner Drive with a blank CD inserted. I used to be able to drag tracks from the Media Library and burn them to a CD, but not in the latest version. Is this a feature or a bug?

I was able to burn the CD using Windows Media Player in Windows 10, so this is not some sort of hardware issue.

I know I have a large library but I'm unable to load my entire library, following a scan. Seems fine until ~200,000 files are scanned. After this, the number of files listed under "tracks" fluctuates with each and every stop/start of the application. Drag & drop added (duplicated?) tracks such that it now says I have over 600,000 when in reality I have 365,000.

advance feature in file info tab

I don't know if I'm describing this right, but within the file info tab, you should be able to to advance to the next file (or go back one file). In 5.9, advancing causes winamp to crash.

I'm also using v5.9.1.10027 and I see the forward and reverse controls on the top right side of the Alt + 3 metadata viewer/editor (next to file's pathname), with both the classic and modern skins I'm using. Unfortunately, Winamp immediately crashes when I try to use them.

I don't see them either. Are they from JTFE?
