WinAmp 5.9.1 will not start minimised

I installed winamp 5.9.1 on Windows10 in place of the previous version which I used to start minimised from a scheduled task at logon. I did this by adding the option -startmin. This does not work for the new version.

I've tried setting up a shortcut and modifying the run option to Minimised and using this shortcut by the scheduled task but that doesn't work.


My windows version is Windows10 Pro 22H2

Please ignore as I've since found that the fault is Bento Skin and that modern works.
