AOL sees Winamp3 as a failure. So they got rid of the people that produced that failure. It wasn't a failure it was just undercooked. I still blame AOL for forcing the release on it before its time. The later versions were coming along nicely.

hell nah.
They dug their own grave but I'd be damned if wasabi.player would disappear because of their stupid mistakes.
A dream now would be to get through this mess and eventually make wasabi.player what it should've been all along and then AOL can only sit back and watch as they realize their mistake as they no longer controls wasabi.
But it's just a dream..

good to know.
the first thing you could do is pick up the SDK and start digging through the Examples and shit, to learn how it's done.
It might look really scary at first but it won't bite you, I promise
Then when you feel you know your way around, there's plenty of already released stuff in the SDK which needs to be updated, so there's nothing stopping you from digging in
As for how to get through the current mess, well noone knows right now how things will go, so we'll just have to wait and see.
I know one thing for sure tho, I won't stop developing for Wasabi during this time.

That's the exact same thing as in the Modern skin.
But I need a keyboard shortcut to not go in the preferences or to switch skins !!!Winamp 5.581 (DirectSound out) + ClockAmp 2.6 + mp3cue 5.0

sure, a menu item for crossfade would be really good..
Hopefully, that's something we will see in 5.1
