ahhh so I don't have the proper final then
ah well keeps up the excitement

@sawg: (if you posted that in reply to me) I meant the changelog from winamp 2.91 to 5.0 final (because thats all the changes that the public will see, and it looks *very* impressive). But that change log was interesting too

something like the attached.... (although that doens't have the 2.92/5 changes in)

@Evil_Ernie was that your wish too? I kinda remember someone else asking for something similar...

Ummm - to make sure u have the latest ver - Ur build should be the 14th not the 12th! The 14th build is the one that will be linked to when the main winamp site is updated! (from Sawg: http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....80#post1201180)

(I have Opera reloading winamp.com every 1 min so i can get WA5.0 ASAP!)

found a typo in the final (supposed?) release (http://download.nullsoft.com/winamp/...amp50_full.exe)

in the version history dialog it says:

"Support for classic Winamp 1.x/2.x/2.9x skins and Winamp 3 ("Modern") skins"

    Surely that should be Winamp3?

damn it why cant they put the long version update list in! looks so much better! i believe dj egg has a copy...

You know, I tried playing with the plug-in for that as Egg instructed a couple pages back, and Winamp just started acting totally freaky. The tone and volume would screw up if I deselected Winamp and I had to reinstall it to get it to stop, even after resetting things back to default.

Weird, but I suppose stuff like that is why I don't mess with the plug-ins much.

I wish, that the 4front EQ was the default for MP3, too.

Thanks for the link. I also know what you mean about some poorly made presets degrading the VIS experience, but instead of using the rating system, i just delete the presets I dont like. Same goes for AVS....painstaking process, but well worth it once you have your 100 or so favorites running exclusively.

Yea, this site has a ton!

Many are bitching, many are lame. I just downloaded them all and if I see one I dont like (or really like) playing, remember you can "rate" the preset using + and - .

OK. My bad. I just realized.. the EAK I was referring to was Eric King.
    <noobmode> SOW? What that? <\noobmode>
Doesn't really matter now, but if you had been the other EAK, you would have known that SOW was the RedRival Site Of The Week, and EAK contributed his Pop-up Window Generator. Actually, I created and then ran that site a few years back when I was known as Phzzz (Phzzz is long-dead now though and Nunzio lives ). But the site has since gone to shit. It's death started around the same time that Phzzz died. LOL!
Holy Shit when did I become a Senior Member?!?
When you hit your 100th post... Congratz!
