"Now Playing" two times !?

I'd like to use now playing for infos about the currently played song, but at the moment i need this feature to show up the winamp minibrowser. (to show my album collection in covers)

so...
i need him ... or someone like dro for this. i'd like to have a second "Now Playing" entry in the left pane. (with another name like "albums" of course)

is this realizable ?

well .... no answer for a long time ...

i noticed that A LOT of plugins (for coverart, lyrics, etc) use the provisoric "Now Playing" method.

why cant there be a customizable alternative ? it would help a lot of plugins not to interfere, and would open a lot more options .....

please answer.

those buttons at the top (back, refresh, etc.) look like they can use some work, btw. that will all probably come later though, i'm guessing.

/edit: Yeah, I wrote that (though not for Winamp5), and the buttons (and mostly everything else) were never finished really. I used text instead of graphics because it was an add-on script for WA3 that was supposed to work with all skins.

Sorry Gonzo, I didn't know you'd written it originally, but I guess whoever made the new CircloTronic skin must've used/modified your xml/maki, maybe?

This skin comes with a browser window. Yay!

I copied Circlo_T_ronic.wal to a temp folder,
renamed it to zip,
extracted the relevant info\files.
So, I copied the Winamp Modern folder to Winamp Modern 2
and just added the relevant text to skin.xml

<include file="xml/browser.xml"/>

I then put browser.xml in the xml dir
and browser.maki in the scripts dir
and voila, that's it!

Far out, eh!? :/

It'll be taken care of when the db is sorted or before if the author takes care of it himself (I sent an email, but it's a hotmail address and I'm not hopeful he'll actually ever see it).

In the mean time, I guess I might as well modify the last working version and make it easy for skinner's to include into their projects.
