Plugin wanted

I'm looking for a plugin (if it exists) to help me fix playlists, OK, I'll be more specific:

I made lots of playlists, nice yes?

It's clear that when a file is moved or renamed, it gets skipped in the playlist, cause it does no longer exist (so called dead file). No problem here, it's easy to fix.

Now when all my music files are moved (to difrent drive or diferent folders f.e.) all playlists are dead. Thats not so easy anymore...
In the lib. i just add the new location of the music and rescan, but the playlists of course stay dead.

I was wondering if maybe a plugin could do the job. Based on the filenames and / or filelength in the playlist, looking up the new locations in the (fixed) lib. and with this information fix and save the playlist(s).

I don't see mayself doing this manualy, i'll be busy for few months i think...

Use a text editor like EditPad

Open all playlist files together
Use the 'Find & Replace' (in all open docs) feature.
eg. Find: c:\music | Repace with: x:\music

i did a few playlists that way with word for windows, but with this edit pad, that 'together' word is magic

I wish I'd thought of that Wordpad trick. I just recently installed XP on my computer... moved all my stuff over to the slave drive and then moved it back once the install was finished. Of course, my one playlist didn't work afterwards, and having no other bright ideas at the time, I just scanned my media folders with the library and enqueued everything into a new playlist to save over the old one.
