it does not work on nVidia cards hence the requirements of an ATI card as detailed in the first post. the reason as was found in the dev forum is that nVidia's drivers don't support the required value needed.

            Very nice plugin.
You should definitely try to make it work on nvidia cards as well so those less fortunate can get to use it as well.
I'd like some more options though. here's some ideas:

            1. options for how to treat pictures, fit to width or height, tile, resize and so on
            2. the ability to decide which pictures to be selected for viewing when selecting based on playing file. Either with simplified RegEx or just keywords. Regex would work like this:
.*(cover|folder)\.jpg would match for instance albumname-cover.jpg or folder.jpg. for simplisity this could be implemented as a keyword system so you just write in whatever words the pictures have to have to be chosen.
            3. Another thing which is harder but would be nice is if you could poll the general brightness of each image and change the text colour of the playlist editor to make the text easyer to read (although I might be asking for too much now) ;-)

[edit] oh another thing... idea stolen from Foobar: having the option to have the picture follow the highlighted song rather then the playing song so you don't have to start a new song just to see the cover of the song[/edit]

from what was discussed either another way of doing this needs to be found or nVidia need to add in support into their drivers heh

As stated by DrO, this currenly only works on ATI graphics. When time permits, I'll see what I can do about NV. Without HW support, the flicker will be a lot worse.

                        cool Safai,

work perfectly on my Win Xp Home, Radeon 9600XT and Winamp 5.094

suggestion: it would be possible to have the configuration of your plugins in the right clic menu of the playlist?
Sorry for my bad English, i'm French

Nice it's getting better all the time
another must have option for the position setting:
expand to edge. basically an option that resizes the picture while keeping the aspect ratio, but fills the entire playlist editor. for instance, if the picture used is too tall it should resize it so that the width covers the playlist and if it's too wide it should make the height fit.
that way the picture will always fill the entire screen without changing the aspect ratio and with a minimum of clipping. could also be nice with additional options of how to center the clipped picture (top bottom center left right) but that's not as important.
