Yeah, but its not quite grey, its got a slight blue to it (Cobalt-Blue maybe?) And it a bit tricky to get right since the editor doesn't appear to use proper RGB values.
What I've got there (<gammagroup id="Titlebar" value="-1000,-500,-250" gray="0" boost="0" /> in my post above) is pretty close.
But yeah, various shades of grey/blue is the way to go for a Royale Noir Bento Theme.
Cool, I'll try it out. I'm already a big fan of Egg's Bento Noir. Do you think basically just greyscaling the whole thing would make a good theme for the Royale Zune remix that i mentioned in my last post?
P.S. I checked your link, it is the same theme that I was talking about, it says "For Zune, work was done to better the distasteful orange and many bugfixes implemented that Microsoft messed up." - basically it's the blue glow from Noir but it's black like Zune. My favorite by far.
Xepha, is it the one that has Royale Zune included and they fixed the oranges so they were blue like Royale Noir? I reaaally want a color theme like that for Bento seeing as how awesome Egg's Noir one was.
got here via the "get more" button in winamp. i'm interested in creating my own theme but the editor referenced here:
WINAMP.COM | Forums > Skinning and Design > Modern Skins > Color Editor 2.1.2 released, does not work with Winamp 5.541. Mirrors in the same thread also do not work.
Well the skin files are available for you to edit and the maki sources are in the skin dev pack (I think) so you can try your hand at editing them if you like.
As for a modular skin, it might be possible to create but I am no skinner. I think that if you had a separate folder for each component and they were self contained so that in skin.xml all you had to do was include them. Well I'm sure it is not that easy to implement.
ok, maybe someone can tell me if a skin is an all in one kind of thing, or can it be set up in modules? I like the Bento skin and all the color variations, but I really would like to improve the EQ look. In big bento, it seems a little small, and the sliders could look better...is there anything like that?
