it needs the input plug-in responsible for handling RSN's to do expose the folder.jpg to Winamp and the official SNESamp plug-in doesn't do that. the removed SNESamp Wrapper plug-in did enable folder.jpg support but that plug-in is now gone so unless you get the original SNESamp author to update their plug-in or i have a change of heart on Winamp plug-ins, you're not going to achieve what you want.

I'm not able to save the Album Art position when it is embedded in the Media Library window.
I mean, after positioning and resizing the Album Art frame, for example, in the left lower corner of the Media Library window if I close the ML and close winamp the next time I run winamp the position of the Album Art frame is lost. This happens only if I close the ML before closing winamp. I use Winamp with a classic skin.
Anyway, thanks a lot for this fantastic plugin

the positioning handling isn't ideal for that mode and i know it needs to be re-implemented as it also doesn't nicely handle switching between skins causing it's position to get messed up (much like you're seeing). only suggestion currently is not to close the ML before closing Winamp.

Greetings, I have a problem. When I restart Winamp, the cover window has disappeared, while "Album Art" is selected in the "View" menu. I always have to deselect then select it again each time I restart Winamp, which is very impractical. It's similar to the problem met by c1ph3r, in which the program doesn't remember what was done to the window the last time it was used.
Can anyone help?... I'm using the Big Bento skin in Winamp 5.66.Last edited by Klow; 4 January 2015, 15:26.

you should make sure you're using the latest patched 5.666 build 3516 first. then see if the issue persists however if you're using bento then by default this plug-in is not what is used unless you've configured it to be used with modern skins.

those instructions are for doing things without this plug-in and without re-checking are probably conflicting with bento's own artwork handling (as it has its own areas below the playlist and in the info pane at the top) and are more likely the cause of your issue and has little to do with the plug-in that this thread relates to.
so if you're wanting a separate window, you're best undoing the skin changes made and configure this plug-in via its preferences to appear when using a modern skin.

Hello,
first of all I really appreciate your fine work.
I use this plugin to see the artwork of my music when I use modern skins which have no album cover part, which are a lot of good skins but lack this part.
This is really working fine except one thing. The picture itself looks very crappy because it doesnt seem to use any antialiasing to get the picture in shape. It looks like its simply leaving pixels out when rescaling. This is mainly effecting files that have a bigger picture in it (like 600x600 pixels). These are really looking scrappy. On the other hand if I go to the Title information I see that the embedded picture looks okay.
Is there a way to make the rescaled picture in the album cover look fine? What I can do is to change every embedded picture to native scale but I have 10.000 mp3's, that would take a while. This really messes me up, your tool is just genius and I like to watch the album covers but they look so crappy ...
Edit: I use now the native Album Art from the modern skin, not the plugin anymore. This has been described by pjn123 a few posts ago. Then the picture looks just perfect. Thank you anyway
