Well,
please test the songtimers in all your favorite skin (you know the text that counts while you're playing music, hehe). Click on 'em, check if the state (elapsed/remaining) is saved correctly.

Wasabi changes (incomplete)

Winamp 5.54

New skin version from now on: 1.34

* New <AlbumArt/> Params
-stretch: always use the skin-defined dimensions if 1

* New <List/> Params
These params apply also for derived list classes, like colorthemes list and downloads list
-background: use a userdefined background image
-tile: use background tiling (default: on)
-nocolheader: hide the column header

* New <Text/> Params
-translate: set to 0 in order to turn off translation

* New: Icon Support for GuiList

The sidecar has some compatibility issues with this version, hopefully this will be sorted out for the final version. For now, I've temporary removed the Sidecar from the installer and the installer will automatically uninstall the sidecar on old installs.

Changes since first Public Beta:

* removed trap translations for official bundled Winamp languages
* changed behavior of the "No" button in Winamp detection code, so that installer won't close anymore
* fixed FFOD translation issue, related to Dutch language file
* updated to NSIS 2.37.3 (Unicode)
* updated Turkish, French, Polish, Portuguese, and Spanish language files to revision 1.11

German Translation

The German translation now features full localized images for the Modern Skin, big thanks to Pawel Porwisz for drawing the images.

It's also based on latest Winamp 5.54 example file, which provides a much more complete translation especially for the Modern Skins, And it has a fully localized MilkDrop translation and tons of tweaks.

Undocumented new Winamp 5.54 Skin features

The Winamp Modern Skin now shows values for Preamp and EQ in the songticker:

The Modern Skin notifier now also shows the Album-Art like Bento:

Modern Skin Album Art window now also features the right click menu:

And Bento now shows the state of the Balance in Songticker too, like Modern Skin already did:

Noticed this on a slightly earlier build. I think the state remains OK, it's just the display on stop that gets reversed.

Misc: [enc_flac] Now encodes using libFLAC instead of Flake

Just an question. Why was this change made? I am a big FLAC fan, but flake seemed to be O.K.

I like how Flake is still available via the Essentials pack.

libFLAC is much more tested than FLAKE and it gets more often updates than FLAKE, I guess this were the main reasons.

Okay, no config for enc_flac. The slider for compression level is missing or wasn't included. If it is supposed to be missing, why? If it won't be added, what is the setting used?

Improved? That should be "Worsened". Anyway, thanks for providing the essentials pack.

There is a slight error, maybe, in the installer. The H.263 flv decoder only says (h) in the text after the checkbox. Also, can you not have the installer close if Winamp is open? The Winamp installer doesn't bitch and then close.

Hmm, enc_flac shows the compression slider okay for me (see screenshot).
Are you using a lang pack maybe?

And the "(h)" after in_flv description only shows when f263.w5s is present.
