Yup... for those icons still displayed as "previous"... maybe you need to set Winamp as default player for such extension manually...

    Thanks for the reply!

Understood -- I tried with 3 different versions of the JTFE plugin, also without.

The "trick" seems to be setting Winamp as the default Music app in Windows (again), after making changes.

    Behavior (Win10 Pro 21H2, Winamp 5.9 Final, JTFE v1.3.3.1216):

    1. In General -> JTF -> Extras: check the Enable box, select an Icon Pack.

    2. In General -> File Types: drag both sliders down, click somewhere else (i.e. go out of File Types)
    - Winamp freezes for a bit while Windows Explorer refreshes ~100 times.
    - All formats associated with Winamp now have "Previous Track" icons.

    3. (re-)Set Winamp as the default Music Player in Default Apps.
    - Some types (flac, mid) are showing as expected.
    - Others (mp3) show the generic icon (speaker on page with Winamp logo) from a pack.
    - Others (minipsf, miniusf, psf, psf2, spc, rsn, vgz) still show the "Previous Track" icon.

So overall, progress. Now I'll see if some other plugins are interfering.

Thanks for the clarification. It'll be fantastic if they ever include native Icon Packs support, perhaps with some additional options for overriding icons for specific types.

To make Winamp Icon Pack work with Winamp 5.9 you NEED to use JTFE plugin, you need to install Icon Pack and you need to set (again) Winamp as system Default Player (in Windows Default Applications).

Please, see the first post, where I have added short tutotorial.

Ps: Winamp 5.9 not support Icon Pack functionality natively for now. It uses DrO plugin to make it work (the plugin is designed for Winamp 5.666!).

I'm unable to get icon packs to work with Winamp 5.9 Final (same behavior in RC4 too).

    Tried:
Winamp Icon Pack v4.0 (and an old version of Winamp Icon Pack I've had for years).

    With:
    gen_jumpex v1.2.3.1151
    gen_jumpex v1.3.2.1215
    gen_jumpex v1.3.3.1216

All I get is the icons for all formats associated with Winamp look like "Previous Track" buttons.

    Windows 10 Pro 21H2 x64, Ryzen5 3600, 32GB RAM, GTX970 + v512.15 drivers, 4K res @ 150% scaling. (not sure any of it matters)

    Edit:
I also tried without gen_jumpex, but then I couldn't find any settings to enable Icon Packs so assume JTFE is still required.

This also [aside from a method of using makeshift portable Winamp - http://forums.winamp.com/showpost.ph...&postcount=16] looks like an answer to that headache inducing problems with changing icons for individual audio files associations with Winamp [http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?t=455135]
