rightio, will be making the Winamp installer remove the plug-in as it's main functionality is implemented natively now (as noted above). i'm not too surprised it's causing an issue as it was probably too invasive for it's own good (but that was needed to handling some of the dialogs correctly).
even i've stopped using it some time back due to it causing stability issues for me which is probably why i hadn't seen the issue despite seeing it originally when i still had the plug-in installed. got to love the crap a 3rd party plug-in can do to Winamp at times...
