  • iPod Classic is Dead, Need Alternatives

Apple stopped updating and selling the iPod Classic as of today. Nevermind that the technology was six years old, there hasn't been a better product that supports Winamp.

Anything else out there that supports Winamp? I don't want to leave my beautifully cultivated and curated 300GB Winamp library behind, but it's increasingly looking dark

just buy up a load of iPod Classics and stock pile them and use them for parts to keep things going over time

otherwise i've no valid suggestion for what you're wanting to be able to do still (as the market doesn't seem to think there's a demand for such things which i guess is true in some respects with the big push and rise of mobile content consumption).
