I can't seem to find a list of supported formats anywhere. I tried loading my .m4a lossless aac files, but the app said they weren't supported. So, is there a list of what is supported anywhere?

I'm no expert on the matter, but I don't think Android supports ALAC (Apple Lossless).
Just standard AAC (LC/HE)
If you've installed the ALAC Decoder from the Essentials Pack
then you can transcode the files to wav, ogg, m4a (standard), or if you're a Pro user, mp3.

If you put on a format unsupported, from my experience, you have to remove all the unsupported songs, disconnect the phone from the computer, relaunch winamp on the phone, and let it re-index. Once the index on the phone is clean, you can plug it back in and add supported songs.

I'm not really sure that applies. Default android doesn't support FLAC either, but there are several apps that will play them back just fine. Judging by the survey, winamp may be one of them in the future.
